Spielberg has made schindler's list an experience that is no less enveloping than his earlier works of pure entertainment. Before watching schindler's list, my knowledge on the holocaust was very limited. A beautiful folio society copy of schindlers ark by thomas kenneally while i did always intend to read schindlers ark eventually it has been sitting on my shelf since 2010, which is when i ordered it alongside four other beautiful editions from the folio society, each a booker prize winner and each of which ive managed to read before now. First it is a novel that deals with historical events. Hopefully, the lessons it teaches will have an enduring impact on the hearts and minds of people around the world.
